Curriculum Vitae - Dimitris Kostas
Dimitris Kostas was born in Athens in 1979 and descended from Epirus (Ioannina Karitsa).
In 2002 he graduated from the Preparatory and Vocational School of Fine Arts in Tinos with teachers sculptor G. Maniatakis painter M. Beza , G. Sylikou Professor marble and G. Roukounis - Maniatakou professor in architectural design. During the three years 1999-2002 the faculty of Tinos was also awarded three years with an award from the Ministry of Aegean and Island Policy of the President of the Republic Kostis Stephanopoulos for his performance in sculpture . Simultaneously, the years she lived in Tinos , he worked as a lab technician in marble . She continued her studies on scholarship at the School of Fine Arts in the Department of Sculpture at the Third Workshop teacher George Houliara .
In 2008 he participated in the group exhibition "Traces ....." on the occasion of 70 years since the death of Giannoulis Chalepas of the Cultural Foundation of Tinos.
In 2009 he participated in a workshop on "Land art" in Hydra.
In 2010 he participated in a workshop entitled "A work in a natural progress" in Rethymno, Crete.
The 2012 report presented a thesis entitled'' THE CROSSING'' at the School of Fine Arts. There are several works in private collections.
From the 2012 he is working on the Acropolis, the restoration of the Parthenon as a marble sculpture workshop and reserves in Athens.
